I would like to know what is the difference between “label” and “text” in VisioMapEditor?
I need to add a place for a text on top of a surface, which will be linked to my CMS. Which is the one to chose and how can I do it?
“Label” is shown as a red transparent rectangle. Only a surface which has an ID can have a Label (the “+ Label” option will appear as soon as you insert an ID to a surface or icon).
It is a place where you can add dynamically a name (PlaceName) which will be shown in the map.
“Text” instead is shown as a green transparent rectangle and it is a “fixed” text. You cannot update it dynamically. The text you write will be shown as is in the map.
Here you can see them in VisioMapEditor:
And here is the behaviour in the map :
The surface with ID=B003 has the PlaceName “Radio Station”.
