The builder which generates the map has a feature that detects redundant points on a surface and removes them. Currently, this is set to 10 cms. This means that any points that are 10 cms or closer will be filtered out by the builder.
If you need greater precision in you map, then it’s possible to increase the resolution by adding the following doublonDectionThreshhold builder flag. The 0.01 parameter below means that points 1cm or closer will be filtered (instead of 10 cms):
